Sunshine All Year Long

The climate of Castle Rock is similar to that of Denver, but the high temperatures of summer are moderated somewhat by the higher elevation of central Douglas County. Castle Rock enjoys an invigorating climate that prevails over much of the central Rocky Mountain region without the extremely cold mornings of the high elevations during the winter, or the hot afternoons of the summer at the lower altitudes. Extremely warm or cold weather, although not unusual, normally doesn’t last long.
